I have updated my headphones to Philips SHE 9500.

Fit: Wonderful! They just stay

Sound Quality: They were only $15.00 USD, but they are the best things I've ever heard!

Go With Clix: They're white, my clix is black. It's not horrible, since I could have bought a black pair. Never thought at the time.. lol :P

it beats every other headphones in its price range. very good basses, modarte mid tones and pretty good trebles. overall they are great for the buck.

V-Moda Vibe, Red Rox
V-moda Vibe (red roxx) Headphone reviews - CNET Reviews

- Style/Comfort
Coolest looking buds out there in my opinion, and very comfortable for me. They are small and come with 2 sets each of three different sized tips. Understood that looks aren't as important as sound......see below

- Sound Quality
Outstanding. I agree with other posts on here that this is SUCH a personal preference. I compared them to the Creative ZEN Aurvanas
Creative Zen Aurvana Headphone reviews - CNET Reviews

and the Audio Technica ATH-CK7
Audio-Technica - Microphones, headphones, wireless microphone systems, noise-cancelling headphones & more : ATH-CK7 : QuietPoint™ Passive Noise-Reducing Titanium Earphones

The v-moda's are superior to these in comfort, fit, style and sound. Nice deep warm bass / lows that don't drown out mids and highs. They are also "louder" than any other buds I've used. Where I would have my clix volume on 12 when walking to work, or on the subway, I can have it on 8-10, depending on what I'm listening to, with the v-modas.

** Like all high-quality buds, these do need a burn-in period before acheiving optimal sound. They don't sound nearly as good out-of-the-package as they do after letting them play for 40-50 hours. I just let them run connected to my clix, using a wall charger, for 2 days straight. what a difference. Many people don't have patience to deal with a burn-in period, but these are probably the same people that give negative reviews on buds based on the sound right out of the package.

- How well does it go with the Clix?
I have the Clix2 Red Line, so these red metallic buds go incredibly well. Never before have I had strangers comment on how cool my player and buds go together. Actually I have had people on the subway ask me what kind of buds I have b/c they are that cool looking.

- Worth the money?
Definitely. Original list was $101 but I was able to find them at J&R for $69. Incidentally the Creative Aurvana's were $79 and the Audio Technica's were $69 (orig. list $169).

The headphones i use on my Clix (for home use) are just a pair of old Sony hi-fi ones i've had a few years i think they cost me £12 the sound quality is really good i've got a cheap pair of earphones similar to the ones that came with the player but they've got pink bits on them and they came with something called a "Horn Load Speaker" meaning you put both ear pieces in holes either side of the speaker and it's susposed to amplify the sound coming out of the earphones in the same way as the horn on a gramophone does the sound quality from them is good and their comfortable to wear with out falling out my ears like earphones usually do

I use these bad boys, the Sony MDRG54LP:

Amazon.com: Sony MDRG54LP Street Style Headphone: Electronics

Ordinarily, I'm not a big fan of Sony (remember their mp3 competitor?). I switched from Phillips street-style headphones to Sony after figuring out how malleable the neck thingie was and haven't looked back. The predecessor to these headphones lasted me about a year before I lost a channel of sound.

- Style/Comfort

My primary use of an mp3 player has been for the gym (I would've never even bought one had my brother not gotten me a Shuffle 3 years ago and totally changed my experience at the gym), but the clix has now expanded that to podcasts and the radio, which is awesome.

Anyway, the point is that I always look for behind-the-ear street-style headphones because I've found that they're the best as staying on your ears even when moving around a lot or being upside down, and these cans are true enough to that goal. I was never a fan of the in-ear models (the clix earbuds are too small for my ears). Though they may look weird, their shape make sense after you put them on because your ear is more triangular than you may think. They haven't irritated my ears at all despite arduous workouts and the neckband and cord being black matches my clix in its silicone case quite well.

- Sound Quality

I was really impressed with the sound quality. I think from the Shuffle to the clix alone was a big leap in sound quality, but I was really impressed that such low-end headphones really reflected that. I could readily discern the two channels of sound as used artistically in a song, a concept that was foreign to me since I don't have surround sound at home or anything. I'm not an audiophile or anything, I really do like the sound though.

Of course, there's major sound leakage, but when listening at a reasonable volume it isn't that distracting for bystanders in a quiet area. At the gym or on the bus (where I normally use it), of course, leakage doesn't really matter.

- How well does it go with the Clix?

Like I said above, the black matches black! The silver doesn't take much away from that.

- Worth the money?

Oh yeah, definitely. If these last the year that my old pair lasted, the $15 + tax was well-spent. I don't believe in spending money on expensive headphones for 3 reasons: fear of them being lost/stolen, portability (I'd always be worried about breaking them, and the non-in-ear ones would be hefty), and I'm not really stickler for extremely high quality sound on-the-go. I'd rather invest the money in a good speaker system for my home where I can truly enjoy the sound.

I use Shure E3's (now discontinued).

- Style/Comfort
The OEM latex/rubber in ear buds sucked big time. Especially when I took it running and for outdoor use. But, after I found out that I could buy memory foam style ear bud heads to replace the crappy rubber bud heads, the head set shot up in overall outside sound blocking and the comfort level was 100% better. Now when I go running I have no problems they stay in perfectly fine. The only issue now is when I eat anything crunchy I hear it almost too well in my ears. The over the ear wiring in my opinion is great, especially when running, it helps to keep the buds in place.

- Sound Quality
Sound is great, overall highs and mids sound good, bass isn't bad but not as good as i personally would like it.

- How well does it go with the Clix?
It goes GREAT with the Clix.

- Worth the money?
Well worth the money, if your willing to spend alsmot as much money as you spent on the Clix. I'm actually going to fork out the cash for the newer SE530pth model which has triple drivers, and more bass reponsive. One driver for highs and mids, 2 drives for lows. At least thats where my Federal Tax Rebate is going :-) Thank you Uncle Sam! Just about one of the few (handful) of American Made Products. The cost is between $400-$500+
