Spinn

Not sure if it matters to people living in America, but the SPINN has been finally released in Korea .

the next simplicity_ iriver

You can look around in that website

Basic Information:
Apparently, it comes in 4 GB/8 gigs... so that means they dropped the idea of 16 GB along with a microSD card slot, which is really sad :O. It only comes in silver.

It features Bluetooth 2.0 and DMB something that the Clix 2 didn't have (although I'm not sure if makes a difference). SRS WOW HD also seems to have come back for the users who love using it (me). The display is a 3.3 inch AMOLED (480x272) so you definitely can watch movies on this thing.

Something I didn't know till yesterday was that the SPINN is actually touchscreen along with their new SPINN analog.

The size of the SPINN is quite amazing: 99.5x51x10.7(mm)
Compared to the size of Clix2: 80.3 x 46.8 x 12.8(mm)
So, it is apparently much wider and much thinner than the Clix2 so thats an up.

It supports FLAC and Adobe Flash Lite 2.1. It has 24 hours of music, 5 hours of video, and 4 hours of DMB. In terms of battery life, I don't think much has changed.

I'm not really understanding whether the "cross out" on prices in the korean iriver website is supposed to be a sale or just something to get people to buy it, but the prices are currently at:
Prices at 4 GB: $233.00 (supposed to be 259.00)
Prices at 8 GB: $269.10 (supposed to be 299.00)

In my opinion, this is probably one of the best-looking models yet although I believe some may agree that the Clix2 looks better. The whole themeing idea seems to have disappeared for the SPINN, but I think even without that I'll still like it .

SO have a look around in the korean iriver website and perhaps you can find out more stuff that I didn't see

Spinn vs.Clix

In terms of features can't compare Spinn with Clix...even all here we dedicated to the Clix for years we shall keep our eyes focused on the new Spinn.
Even the short review from the :www.crave.cnet.co.uk prove that this may be the most powerfull at features and screan 3'2 AMOLED screen. If anybody from Korea saw this baby and hold it into his hands please let us know more about it.It shall be availeble this month or next latest in UK 149£ 8 gb,and 16 gb later this year.Even will be posible a version with 32 gb on board .Keep my fingers crossed for that.
All who know more about this player, please welcome to share with us he rest .Maybe we shall speak to Jeff to build a new site only for this player.
somethig like: www.spinnhere.net

Meh, I hate tactile screens...
I'll just stick with my Clix

But I must say, iRiver is very innovative -- never seen that kind of spinning control before.
