There is really nothing much I want to add on, except 2 points:
1) In case you are wondering, all those chips used in clix2 are considered to be the best available in the market, and can be commonly found in high end DAP.
2) Due to the use of D-click, the connection between the screen and the mainboard is the structural 'weak point'. I DO NOT mean the whole thing will break apart, I only want to point out that the white connection slot used in connection between the two points is design to separate (instead of break apart) in the case of excessive force - a kind of redundancy protection, I believe.

As far as I know no one know the spec of the battery, all we know is the part number. However, I know it use a connector and is not soldered on the board. As for source, I just google all over the web to find the info... not really a time saving method (I spent a few hours on it).. and try search the main processor name, some time it will turn out the right info. Anyway, I didn't keep bookmark on those pages (so I don't really know where they are now), but I am pretty sure none of them mention the spec of the battery.

I only know the Clix and Clix 2 use some kind or Samsung ARM CPU and Samsung flash memory, though I'm not sure what do they use for the DSP, though... (crystal sound?)

Actually, I recently find out that only clix1 use Samsung's ARM CPU (200mHz), clix2 use TeleChips duo core ARM (400mHz), which double as video accelerator and DSP.

Interesting... Now that also explains why the Clix 2 can also playback video @ 30fps and in the early firmware revisions even at very high bit rates and resolutions (1500bps@640x480).

Fortunatley I managed to get it all back together and working fine =) although it did reset the clock and other settings.

How did you get it back together? I dropped mine and it worked for a while before it completely seperated, but after it separated I have not had a peep out if it. It won't come on or reset or power up through the USB. Any suggestions?

Firstly, sorry all for the delay in replying.
Seeing as there has been so much interest (and a request from Mattman!) i'll try a knock up a quick and dirty opening/re-asembling guide, for all those "how do I" peeps =)

Wow...it's a little scary that the thing breaks so easily. I just ordered the 8gb model from an importer, but I'm worried that I'll break it...!

It didn't smash open into 2 peices, just got a little twisted. This is no different as to what would happen to any other DAP.

Same as m4tt8. I dropped my Clix2 on the floor, and the front went a bit twisted and wouldn't click! With a little force (LITTLE)(without opening it), I managed to make the problem dissapear.
But now, when I press the down button, I find it a little difficult to press. It's working, but is a bit disturbing; I don't know if I pressed the button or not.
When I press the other 3 buttons I hear a click; when I pressed the down button I don't hear anything (maybe a LITTLE click ).
It's not a big problem, but maybe someone had the same problem and has a solution. I thought about opening, but I think it's too risky.
P.S. Sorry for my English.

I hope this isn't OT, but out of curiosity: when you guys dropped your clix (those who are posting on this thread and saying so), was it in a case of any sort? I wonder if my silicone case will absorb shock at all in case I drop it on concrete or something (I try to keep the wrist strap on to be safe).
