Unfortunately, iriver Australia (C.R. Kennedy) already answered to a few of members in email that they have no plan to release clix2 in Australia at all, instead they will focus mainly on X20. However, The iriver Store will ship to Australia, if you decide to buy it from Jeff. |

Does anyone know if this 8 gb one will still have 30 fps video playback? Or will see an increase in the fps

More than 30fps? most TV/DVD only plays @ <29.97fps! 
The answer is 'no', 30fps is about the best fps setting you need on a device like clix2. Anything more is just gonna be an overkill. |

just click the products links at the top of that page and you will see that they the red stripes model is like a new look to the 2GB and 4GB out in stores already. it is not an 8GB.

uh
its july already, is irriver just trying to convince to my buy an ipod. im pretty convinced by this point there plan is to make people buy the 4gb and then release the 8gb model and make them buy that to. i mean im willing to wait but this is just unreasonable.

All reports are pointing towards the release of the 8gb in the next week/week and a half.

Perhaps someone should update that little blurb at the top of each page in the forums.. it still says June and it's probably the cause of a lot of the confusion within the new members.. Just a thought

you got a link to those reports, sorry if i came off like a jackass but the waiting and just seeing releases of acessories and little to no news about the 8gb model is just frustrating. i mean how many times can i read about the red stripe.

I haven't got a direct link sorry, but if you have a look at some reviews they'll say what they 'think' will be the release date. Of course nothing is official but most people reckon it'll be released this month . |
