iriver emailed yesterday to say they were shipping yesterday so they will arrive Monday if that is the case.

Oh ok, thanks. I was just wondering, if they do come in on Monday, and I'd ordered the Clix+BSE(prefitted)+Silicone bundle and the Crossroads Mylarone X3 on Friday, will it most likely be shipped this Thursday or next Thursday? (Seeing as I'm overseas)

Some little setbacks, but should all work out fine. I just got an E10 to fill-in.
I'll have reviews for the E10, clix2 and H340 up in the next few weeks too.

Hey all. I didn't realize there was a community here. Very cool.
I've been putting off getting a new player for a long time, and wanted to see what was out there besides ipods (which I can't believe people actually like)
Anyways, I was about ready to buy a Zen 4gb and then noticed on a review page dozens and dozens of people complaining about various issues such as joysticks breaking, lockups, not being able to delete files o.O etc. As much as I didn't want to toss the research I did so far I saw the Clix2 photo on the side bar of that site and figured I'd start over researching.
Wow!! What a set of features! And almost everybody loves them.
So then I was just about to buy the 4GB Clix2 from Amazon.com and saw that there was an 8GB version but the **only** place to get them was the iriver store at full retail price.
Enter a 4 hour debate with myself on whether it was worth the extra $58 to have 4GB more. Then I remembered that 4GB was really about 3.5GB of usable storage, and that I was probably going to want to store videos as well as music on the thing... Then I remembered that I can spend $50 on a tank of gas easily, so that was it - By next monday (according to the iriver store) I'll have the 8GB Clix2 in my hands.

Fyi, you can get the 8gb clix for 200 dollars with the new mail in rebate if you search online. Two stores selling them for this price are J&R and B&H Photo

I went with B&H Photo since they also offer free shipping in addition to no sales tax outside of New York. After the rebate, total cost should be around 200, not too bad when all the ipod nano owners claim their's is a better bargain. Nevermind all the add-ons they'll need to buy in order to match the quality and features of the clix

Also got the BSE direct through the company, 8.99 with shipping for a full body.

I'm not trying to take away Jeff's business here at all, just sharing information for those who may have been on the fence because of price. If you've read enough posts here, you'll notice that the customer service and support when buying a product here is hands down superior to any other store selling these. I would have bought mine here if I was getting more of the accessories, but because all I wanted was the player, I went this route.

Are there any plans for Jeff to sell more 8GB clix2s in the near future?

I believe no more Clix2, iriver will no longer make it and it will be replaced by new player.
