just copy a .ttf font file from your computer (many of these can be found in C:\windows\fonts\ where C is whatever drive you have windows on) into the \fonts\ folder on your clix.

When I tried this, I got a message saying "This device does not support this type of file"...

That's the thing; they all are .ttf. Could mine be defective?

I am not sure (cause I don't have a clix2), but you might need to. Or maybe you can try copy it to just outside of the font folder, than drag it in.
