I have Flash MX on my computer is there a difference between MX and 8? I tried opening the files and it keeps saying unexpected format, and unable to update registry or something like that

In addition to my last question, I read on the korean site that I don't need 8 (right?), on the tut for the theme it says mx 2004. Anyways and then it says flash lite 2.0, how do I get it for MX?

I'm having problems finding what i need to update my actionscript to version 2.1. Also I think i need some kind of clix2 profile? When I open the basic theme file for the clix2 i get a message saying that it doesn't have the correct fonts so it won't display correctly... I have to click 'use default font' to open it. I'm wondering if this will make any difference when i export the swf.

Ok so I followed the link on the korean website that says download, it shows a page for adobe with a bunch of lite stuff, which do I download, windows mobile 5.0, BREW, Symbian?

I would like to make Clix2 remote controllable.
I have a Clix1 Cradle with the remote control. Obviously, a Clix2 would not physically fit in the cradle. However, I am thinking about making a special cable to connect the Cradle dock connector to the Clix2 dock connector and hoping the remote will work with Clix2.
1. Is this possible?
2. Will it be a straight thru cable or will certain pin re-assignments need
to be done?
3. Where do we find dock connector pin-out diagrams for both Clix1 and Clix2 ?

It might be a little more complex than simply mapping the pinouts because the clix2 has a regular usb port, but the clix1 has a specialized one. In any case, I think your job might be easier if you wait a bit for the clix2 cradle to be released

I would like to ensure my understanding is correct.
I am planning on (dreaming of, maybe) using Flash 1.1 or 2.0 to create a GUI or Skin the same way we create Flash games. In this new skin, I can play a song and display Album Art with a more desirable size and location.
Is it true that what I describe above is only feasible for Clix2 and not for Clix1?

This is a great idea for the clix2 and will work if you do it correctly.
But I'm almost positive that it will not work on the clix(1).

If you do make a clix2 theme, make sure you share it!
