Mattman's Theme - clixhere!

Well the discussion has been all over the place and a bit messy so I decided to tidy up after myself and merge all the "Mattman's theme" related stuff here.

From Thursday the 20th of September:
After obtaining Flash Pro 8 and using balornt's great guide I'm well on my way to publishing my own theme. As I don't have a clix2 yet I'm posting it here to see if anyone can find any bugs for me.

Here is Mattman's theme v0.3

I've spent all day just pickin' at little things and discovering stuff, getting better and better as I go. For my first ever time using flash I don't think it's bad, but props to the guys and gals at iriver who done the original clix_theme.fla It would've taken a while!

Check it out now and tell me what you think!!

I love the design. There are a few problems though.
When on the main menu the words 'main list' are positioned in the middle of the screen.
The date stays written when you go into now playing (over the time bar), in the alarm, in the recording screen and in the radio.
The radio screen flickers for a split second about every 2 seconds.
The pictures menus when in the album or picture menu's, they flicker on then off quickly every half a second. The pictures show fine when you view them though.

Its definitely a great effort for your first time. There is no way i could do that in a week of staring at my computer (and hitting it). Congrats.

Do you mean day? If so, I moved the day up a little bit so it shouldn't run into anything.

Not sure, could be fixed haha. Got something in the part that I can't get rid of, may be the problem.

So if you could tell me which are fixed (if any

) and also could you tell me what the video screen is like. Or if anyone could let me know for that matter!

With respect to v0.5:

The words main list are still shown on the main menu.

The day is more in the way now. If it were in the bottom right corner it would be out of the way in all the menu's, but not in now playing. There isn't really space for it there. Is there a way you could remove it from that screen?

Radio screen is fixed, as well as the pictures menus. The videos section was good all along

Ok thanks, I've got v0.6 ready to go but I'll revise it tommorow and post 0.7 and hopefully that'll fix everything.

BTW how many times do the words 'main list' appear on the screen?
As regards to the day I'll leave that until I get my clix. Not long now!

Ouch! LOL... Naw, bud. viewed in IE and it seemed to work. Then I put it on my clix and it crapped out, bright greyish screen. I had to use my reset button for the first time! lol.. sorry, bud
