Problem with themes that have animated menu icons

Hello.

I have Clix 2 4gb, and the 1.14 firmware, and themes that have animated icons (for example JK Nany, coolnight themes, aqua theme...) won't work as they should.

The icons should switch according to menu that is currently selected (like in JK Nany theme, there are image of photographs for the pictures, the image of radio for the fm radio and so on) , but they don't. Only icons that do show up _almost_ properly are FM radio (and once it shows up, it is stuck on the screen no matter what menus I am browsing) and the music icon (which shows up only after play some track, and it too stuck on the screen.)

The problem is same with all themes that have animated menus. I have downloaded them through this forum. Anyone else experiencing this? Any solutions?

I have not had any problems with any of the icon/animated themes. You could try rebuilding the library, resetting it or formatting it (please backup your content to your pc)

A reset or refreshing the firmware should help.

I have this problem in any animated theme when I use Language different than English (in my case - I use Russian). When I did lang = english all worked OK.
For solve this problem I decompiled theme file and change in several places where there were script about animation from english menu item names into Russian. And after it all animation worked fine with Russin language in menu, but did not work with English So that is my solution. It can be made animation for severeal languages using in script operators "if then elseif then" for all languages that you need .
Try and good luck

Oh so that was it! I too use other language than english, and changing the language was the first thing I did to my Clix as soon as I got it out of the package. Now I've changed the language back to english, and everything looks so sweet .

No wonder the firmware updates and formatting would not help.

But it would be really nice to use themes with my own language too, so would you Domovoy12 (or anyone who has knowledge about these things) kindly explain the process of changing menu names from script step by step with layman terms... I'm afraid I'm not familiar at all with these kind of things. How on earth I can decompile the theme file?

Strange thing. I'm german, too and when I switched language back to english all the themes worked fine. Uhmmm... not too bad. My english is good enough to handle it.
