I just remember when the H120 came out I was going to buy it, but it couldn't record from FM so I passed it up. I just assumed iRiver kept that tradition.
I'm a little sad actually. My 4G Cowon D2 arrived today along with a 4G SD card. The device is lovely. I saw some pictures of it side by side with the clix2 and I expected it to be a monster, but its absolutely tiny and I can barely feel it in my pocket as its smaller, thinner and lighter than my phone.
I really applaud iriver for the size of the clix2 because thats is magnificant they could design the hardware they did. But then again, the D2 is also tiny and from the pictures I thought it would be massive.
Oh yes, back to FM.
I'm thrilled with my D2 apart from one huge thing. The radio sucks. It upsets me as I listen to the radio a lot and its a little bit hissy and seems to be poor for picking up reception. My old philips portable tape had a much much much stronger FM receiver than the D2.
AND I hear the clix2 has an excellent FM receiver so it probably would suit my needs a little more.
For so many years I've held off buying an mp3 player, starting initialy with the intel white player many many years ago, and then all of a sudden, two amazing pieces of technology appear at the same time.
It's a happy time for consumers!
(Just a shame my D2 has poor radio reception)
