Hi guys. I had the same problem just few days ago: the clix2 4gb dropped and I feel so sad because the screen's completely blank now.No lines, just alla black. I really didn't know what to do until I red this great post.Do you think it could be a matter of loose connector?Hope I can repair it using this useful guide..it doesn't seem that easy, but I have no choice!I want it back!

m4tt8, I would marry you and have your children. I dropped my Clix into a cup of water and in a moment of panic, turned it on without thinking about the consequences. It came on, but died a few minutes later. I used a hair dryer and a bag of rice, to no avail. But I stumbled across this thread, took the Clix apart (and losing one of those teeny screws in the process) and dried the inside. Now, it works again. The only problem is that it takes a while to turn on and off. But so far, it's perfect.

what can go wrong when opening clix? can you somehow screw up things while you trying to open it?
