When playing a song, hold '>' for 2 seconds.

Hey fellow CLix owners =)

First post here, very good forum =)

Anyways I noticed that some people were having problem with tuning the X3 with Clix2, and since I've been using X3, XB, X3i...thought I'd give a hand.

Foreword : Remember this is just what I feel that sounds balanced with reference to my library. I listen to all sorts of genres from classical and instrumental to techno/alternative/rock and etc. So maybe this settings will help you find the right setting across the board.

PS: I forgot to mention I burned in my X3 with songs instead of using frequencies. Also, I use different sleeves/tips (the thing that gets stuffed in your ear incase you still don't get it) than the stock X3. Personally, I think the stock ones suck big time. Lolx, it even falls off from what I've heard from other users. Use something from Shure or Ultimate Ears that has single, double or triple flanges pending on preference. I use Shure Soft Flex =)

Custome EQ
==========

Sorry I don't use these settings =Pp

SRS WOW HD
==========

SRS - 6
TruBass - 7
Focus - 7
WOW - 2
Definition - 7

You know guys, SRS and WOW are "drummed" and "bassed" no doubt, but... when i moved on Normal i've understood that special effects simply kills music. Don't use SRS WOW etc, guys, simply pay for really good phones, listen 320 kbps birate (i'm about mp3 not ogg) music etc. It's my modest opinion.

With simple default phones the following EQ works well for my ears:
50-10
200-6
1 - 5
3 - 10
14 -10
Not so original right?

And i'd like to repeat my modest advice: buy good phones guys and listen higher bitrates.

I have senn px100 & they work well. although I prefer something in hear. I like those headphones with the sidways speakers that fit right into your ear canal & the headband keeps them in place.

If you like PX100s but you want to use them in public (on bus etc.) try the PX200s. They need a bit of burn in though (after a couple of weeks the sound starts to widen out and the ranges even out, after a few months the bass extension is much more together, you then have a lovely sound) and they have to get a good seal on your ear (depends on ear size/shape).

If you can use them, I think you'll like them. As usual it depends on your head.

My settings for the custom equalizer :
50 - |||||||| (8)
200 - ||||| (5)
1k - | (1)
3k - ||| (3)
14k - |||||||| (8)
Not too sure though, these are from memory; it might aaso be 8-3-1-5-8.

I used Bose Tripod On-Ear and Shure E3G..

SRS = 3
TruBass = 8
Focus = 1
WOW = 3
Definition = 7

Songs :
David Lanz - Big Sur (Both are good)
A1 - Caught in the Middle (good with Shure, but not Bose)

I tend to lower down the SRS n TruBass to go for more sound-clarity and cleaner sound..

Hope it's useful though...

Just trying out these settings with my Skulll Candy's (inner ear.)

Not bad!

I previously had bass and srs on 10, and focus down to about 6 or 7.
definition was on 4 or 5, lol.

Hi. Does anyone have a EQ/SRS settings for the V-Moda Vibe that you could share with us?

I just got my Vibe today and my current SRS EQ setting made all my MP3s sound like listening behind a brick wall! Should I break them in for ~8 hrs before trying to fix the sound with EQ?

Thanks a lot beforehand.

Total Clix 2 repairs:
1 - Headphone plug internals loose causing mono sound output (sent to service center and fixed).
2 - Screen lost image due to loose signal wire (sent to service center and fixed).
