One small podcast question

Hi,
I'm still wondering, is there any way to manualy put files into "Music"->"Podcast" category?
best regards,
mee

If your clix2 is in MSC(UMS) Mode then yes
I use this for podcasts and its very handy.

All i did was manually created a folder called Podcasts in the Music directory.
I was doing this just to keep my files tidy.

As it happens this leaves those mp3's out of the Artists, Albums etc and they only appear in the podcasts-type

They appear as Filename and id3 tags are not read.
Which is exactly what i was after.

On a side note to this. Any time you connect your clix2 to the pc, you will need to Rebuild the Library otherwise the podcasts wont work. Other albums are fine, just podcasts are very fussy.

same for me.
Using 1.21 - rebuilding updates the library and sorts the podcasts like music =/

Has anyone a solution for this yet ? I have a number of downloaded podcasts that I want to copy over the the Clix2
I don't understand how it works... when I startup my Clix 2 I see a heading for Podcasts... but on the Clix itself there is no folder for podcasts....

Anyone ?

Tks

Howard

Well --- I have discovered a workaround.

I copied my Podcasts into the Recordings folder, inside the Voice folder.

Now - I go to Extras -> Browse Device -> Recordings -> Voice and my Podcasts are listed there on their own.

Q: if I rebuild the library, will Clix move them back into the Music section ?
