Question The cuoio Thread

Hey,

Just want to know how the clix2 is for the people who have it?
What they find annoying about it and what they like about it?
In others words have you found any problems with it?
Is it worth watching movies on?
Is the sound quality good?
Is the battery life good enough for how many 1hr vids example...etc....

I own both... the clix 2 has a much better screen hands down. I've been able to get roughly 5 hrs playback time for video on the clix 2 and approx. the same on the X20.

The way you are going about your decision on which player to purchase is a little bass ackwards.

You need to sit down with pencil and paper and write down what things you need (have to have) and what things you want (don't necessarily have to have) From that point, you can then make a decision.

By continuing to start a thread asking for help when comparing two players you will always get many varying opinions which in the long run will not help you.

The ZVM and clix 2 are two very different players. The first is a full sized, hard drive based player meant to satisfy a particular need in the market. The second, the clix 2, is a small, flash memory based player meant to compete in a TOTALLY different area of the portable market. With this question you're asking to compare Apples to Oranges....

In the end, a player is "worth" it to you if it satisfies your needs and then wants.

Question Clix2 theme customization..!?

I heard you can customize Clix2 themes right...?

If you can how can you make/customize themes is there a program that comes with the clix2 package? Is there a program i can download for making themes?

If there is a program and you do make them do you put them on like you put on music and video files?

I have Flash Macromedia 8 so if there is an add-on for the clix2 I can download the add-on since the clix2's GUI is flash based..?

I'm not trying to force you into the clix 2... all i'm saying is you need to know what you need/want prior to making your purchase and then compare players in the same category. example:

clix 2 vs. Nano

ZVM vs. iPod

Archos 504 vs. Cowon A2

etc.....

The above examples are comparisons between two similar products, in similar portable categories.

I've been a big fan of Creative products since the original Soundblaster audio board. Within my family we have a Zen Micro and a Zen V Plus.

I always thought my next player would be a Zen Vision M but I'm waiting for the Clix2, 8gb.

The major reason is the proprietary connector required to connect with Vision M with your PC. I don't need another piece to carry with me or get lost. The Clix2 uses a standard mini USB connector.

I also travel pretty regularly and the Vision M is slightly too big, I like a smaller format player.

My thoughts and opionions.....for what it's worth!
