How do I fix this problem?

My clix has been acting really weird lately.

I left it off for a weekend as I forgot it at home and reformatted it when I got back, as always when it goes a while without playing. I added all my music back on and it was working perfectly.

There seems to be two problems I'm experiencing with the Clix.

1) My Smart Key does not work when I set it to Shuffle All. Any other setting works, but for some reason, Shuffle All doesn't.

2) This may be directly related to the first problem, but when I have the setting on Shuffle All and choose a particular song from my song list, it automatically goes into shuffle all instead of starting with the song I selected.

I haven't had these problems until recently and have tried everything to fix them, so I turn to the gods of the clix forums for help.

Thanks in advance.

First off, we are not gods. We are more like minor deities - demigods, if you will. So, like, praying to us won't really help.

Secondly, install the newest firmware.

Thirdly, reformat your Clix2.

Fouthly, rebuild your library.

Fifth and finally, send a substantial offering to the Clix2 Demigod Fund, at 234 Normal Ave, Oaksville, England. This will guarantee you eternal life and help support our extravagant demigod lifestyles.

Cheers!

It seems to me that if you reformat your clix you won't have a library to rebluild. Am I missing something?

Sometimes even demi-gods can miss out step three-and-a-half: transfer
the music. Quite an important part of the process, I think you'll agree.

But seriously, it might be worth trying a reset first before zapping the entire thing.

Thing is, you don't get guided through step three UNTIL you've made your offering to the demigods.

So...get on that, my friend. You won't regret it.
