Question Will Clix2 and Mac OS X get along?

Hi, im dying to get my hands on a clix2, but I would like to know how much of a hassle it is to Connect the Clix to to my Macbook pro and upload files onto it.

I saw on another thread that the Clix2 will not be a USB mass storage device. So how is this going to work out for Mac users?

I would love to see that thread....

the clix 2 can be either a mass storage device (MSC/UMS) or an MTP Device. The choice is yours as it's user selectable...

So... it should get along nicely with a Mac.

Only have in mind that you won't be able to play subscription (or other DRMed) music on it in MSC mode. However, if you could get libmtp installed onto MacOS X, it would be theoretically possible to use MTP mode just fine... Now, I don't know of any MTP aware application for MacOS X that would allow for that (not natively at least, as you could compile one of the GNU programs for X11). I'm sure it'll only be a matter of time (hopefully a short while) before someone codes an MTP plugin or Media Player for MacOS X using libmtp, check if it is in the Fink (or whatever the name it is) repository.
