Although it doesn't come from Trannsylvania, I am curious to know how well the clix2 fares under direct sunlight.

It's a well known fact that OLED displays - just like LCD displays - aren't immune to sunlight. In fact they look like crap. But I'm curious to know if the clix2's display looks worse than, better than, or equal to a high-end LCD under direct sunlight.

Interesting question, as I was wondering that very same question the other day while I was walking under the sun with my Clix, and noticed how barely I could make out anything on the screen, even when it was shadowed.

I have a feeling it won't do anything amazing under the sun *thinks clix3 should have a umbrella pop out*. Until then, i guess we'll just have to use our hands for cover.

Maybe if there is a layer on the glass of the clix2, that might help with the sun a little?

Jeff, what is your opinion? Is the clix2 usable outside at all, or does it's AMOLED look worse than a LCD display? I'm getting a clix2 anyway, but i still want to know.
