Need Help - Clix 2G 8 MB and Yahoo to Go Problems

Hey guys, I'm a new member, but have been reading posts for months now. After waiting for the 8MB to be released, I bucked up and bought one from Warehouse123. I got it in two days and was all excited to play with (and show off) my new toy. Unfortunately, when I tried to synch my subsription music from Yahoo, it said teh device does not support subscrition based music. I upgraded the firmware and still got the same response.

Does anyone have any solutions or inputs? Your help is much appreciated as I am DYing to get this puppy loaded up.

Thanks,

TeddyC

Try switching from UMS to MTP or the other way, be sure to back up before formatting though.

I have the 4G version of the Clix 2 and was all excited to get this to work.

The workaround is to not plug in your Clix until after you have the Yahoo software running on your computer. Only then, I went ahead and plugged in the CLIX with the software recognizing the player. Make sure the player is in MTP mode (mine was out of the box).

Once you do this, you select the music you wish to move over. It will download the music first and then begin the tranfer process. Click on down to see the status of the downloads and whether you're having problems.

I had to resync my license after downloading which resolved the problems I experienced on individual songs. Also, you may wish to reformat the Clix before plugging it in and after switching to MTP mode.

Hope that helps.
