Check your Iriver plus 3.

New version is very GoooooooooD.

Here is a list of new /improved things on the new v1.12:

New:
1) Music list is added to Now Playing mode (by holding >).
2) Four direction viewing angle (0, 90, 180, 270) added, except in flash game and video playback. Smart key supported; Picture orientation change by key.
3) Listen to Radio while accessing other functions/Menu (by holding <). While accessing other functions, pressing the power button will stop the radio. Video, music, flash games, and recording are not supported with radio.

Improved:
1) PC USB connection can confirm/select transfer method. Displays MTP/MSC mode on screen.
2) Backlight option disengage inside text viewer (backlight will always stay on).
3) While backlight is set to Off, Hold/unhold will not turn blacklight On.
4) Problem with key noise occurred on playing/pausing audio/video has been improved. Sound of volume change improved.

BugFix:
1) Error occur when unable to display lyric on next songs where previous songs has lyric.
2) Power mode return to factory default after changing and saving UCI/themes/font and button.

[EDIT] Updated.

New:
1) Time left is visible in Now Playing mode (?).
-> Left D click show Music list in Now Playing mode
3) Some function (?) added to the FM ( access by holding ◀ ).
-> It means you can use another function (except video, Music, playing flash game and recording) in FM mode.

BugFix:
2) UCI bugs(?).

Does anyone know if I can update from 1.07 to 1.12 with Iriver Plus 3?
I don't want to try it on my own without some info.

It seems the new firmware isn't showed on the iRiver Firmware Updates, so at this point there is no way for me to get the files directly from iriver server. Anyway, those of you who are running on MTP mode, try this: Backup, switch to UMS, run iriver plus 3 and update, switch back.

Yeah, the site was updated this morning on Korea and now the link is on it.

My guess is, the 8GB model might come with the two variation: one with the normal firmware and there other with Rhapsody firmware (or at least the updater to switch to Rhapsody firmware).

So are there any database changes in this one? Will I have to reformat?

You should always format just to be safe. Reason being, iriver never tells us whether they will change their database on each update. Format will take some time, but much better than crashing or killing the device.

Please tell me....does the new firmware 1.12 allow you to see the radio station name, like RDS?Also if does support bigger games, i mean flash 2.02 or someting like that..Is the video quality better or is the same?
And about sound...can you tell me if you found it better then before?

i believe rds requires the appropriate hardware, so the answer is probably no
