Firmware 1.11 (Rhapsody only) released.

For all of you who are currently running on the Rhapsody firmware, a newer version (v1.11) has just been released. Since the Rhapsody client 4 has also just been released (check this out), some of you might be interested as of how well the two are working now.

For some reason, after I installed the 1.09 Rhapsody firmware, and I am using MTP mode, both on the 1.09 and the 1.11 (Updated using the iriver firmware updater) I can not put files on the root of the device, its weird, I can add and remove files to all other folders just fine, but it gives me an error on the root of the device, I am using vista if that helps at all. Any suggestions on how to upgrade to 1.12?

Firmware v1.12 isn't Rhapsody compatible. You need to do a manual update to reverse your Rhapsody firmware back to the normal v1.12.

Besure that you format after every firmware update.

[s]Thats what my problem is. I cant do the manual update to reverse the Rhapsody firmware, it seems to have locked any writing to the root of the device. It may just be a vista problem, I am going to try it with my XP machine, and see how that goes, but as of current, I cant manually update it.[/s]

I changed it to UMS mode and did it that way.
