Nice find!
It's definately firmware, a clix2 messing up like that is very....different. SO yea its probably firmware, put that post in Desired Features and Common Complaints
Im sure the iriver crews that make the firmware cruise thru these forums, being one of the more "official" forums for iriver u10/clix series. So if you put it out for them to see hopfaully they will have it fixed with next firmware.

If I remember correctly, EQ should be disable once an Audible content is played back. Also, there is suppose to have only one EQ in effective at any time, so the 2 simultaneous EQ is possibly an bug.
In other words, those are bugs that got fixed.

I would have to agree with clieos on both subjects...
1. Two EQ's simultaneously was a bug and appears to have been fixed. You should only have a choice between one or the other.
2. Audible content should not have an eq option...

Has anyone been able to get Rhapsody Channels to work with the Rhapsody firmware? I'm looking for two things: Rhapsody Channels and Rhapsody DNA (instead of wma). In trying to make this work tonight I read in a help file for Rhapsody specific players that you have to set the player to Rhapsody mode. How do you do that? Have they not enabled the option yet in the firmware?
Thanks,
John

Channels?
Does anyone know how to get this working? I try to drag the channels to my Clix but it won't let me. I have the latest firmware.

There's always bugs with firmware, people try to make something new, something better, therefore making some new bugs. This is the sad truth with basically all mechanics. You simply have to decide between a new version with "these" bugs, or the old version with "those" bugs.
If anyone can prove me wrong on this please tell me and i will go buy that product and triple the price.

Well, if so, these were nice "bugs" for me, I could call them "butterflies" !
The Eq. with Audible material is a nice feature considering that plenty of Audible titles include songs and music and also many spoken materials can really sound much better applying some equalization.
Also, using the "SRS WOW HD" and the "Custom Eq" simultaneusly is (was) a very good feature for me. More powerful/flexible than only one at a time. Why not?

Most common reason for this type of error is your firewall configuration. Try sending a single file through WMP and then switch back to Rhapsody and see what it gets you.
(Syncing the track in WMP should set the secure clock.)

They must not have quite sorted out the Channels thing yet... synced a track with WMP11 just fine, then went back to Rhapsody and still get the same error.
Oh well... the wait continues

I updated the Rhapsody client and my Clix firmware and I am now able to transfer Channels! I can also see my account info on the Clix and see the green dot at the top that shows how long until I need to renew the licenses. What I don't see is the DNA files (RAX are they?). The files are still being transferred as WMA. I want to see (and hear) the DNA files mostly out of curiosity but I understand that they transfer a lot faster than Playsforsure which is really slow. Does anyone know if I should be able to transfer as DNA files rather than Playsforsure at this point or is this still another firmware change to be made?
