WHat happens if u just dowload a firmware in korean iriver site and install it?
will it do any harm?

The US version comes with this revision, but if you have a non-US version then using the link clieos provided is fine.

So.. is it okay or not okay to use a firmware from Korean iriver site (iriver.co.kr) on a U.S. Clix 2?

Yes. To the best of my knowledge the firmware is not tied to local.
