Okay, so I get why I should format my player when I update, but if it is just a database issue, wouldn't updating the database from iRiver plus fix it?

iriver plus 3 only updates the database which the new firmware can 'see'. That which was discarded will remain hidden on the the player until formating, or a big crash.

Just format it.

Thanks clieos. Formatted my player, then realized that my backup was before I added extra flash games and themes. Ah well, just need to find them again. On a related note, anyone know a good website for getting games that are compatible with the clix2?

I can't update iriver plus... Any suggestions?
