Well i got the 8gb version today it is superb.
Anyway i got Iriverplus3 of the web latest version 3.3.1.3

I tried to update clix firmware,as per the forums advise etc to 1.15
but when i try in IR+3 i get the error message "network error"

I am in the uk using broardband with no issues usually.

Any ideas what to look into?

Amazingly I read a lot of forum info before purchasing and waiting arrival
(next day from advanced mp3 players) but i didn't relise you actually
press the screen sides in to operate it really is fantastic and only used it
for 5 mins max.(i was under the inpression the red line plastic was the controls numpty, eh?)

At present using sensiser px100's really super sound
and in my Hi fi I use ATC100asl active spaekers!

I have just been thinking perhaps version 1.14 is the latest in europe?
My clix says version 1.14 EU . Maybe the 1.15 version is only available in the
USA or other contries at this present time?

'Network error' basically means you lost connection between your PC and iriver server (which is not the fastest server around). I received that message at least 20 times before I was able to download the update.

im on firmware 1.07 and am trying to upgrade. i keep getting the network connection error when i click on "firmware update" in the tools menu. its not a timeout or anything, i cant even get past the network connection error. ive rebooted my pc, the pc recognizes the clix2, as does iriver plus3...but when i cant seem to get past the error. what am i doing wrong?

As I said, 'network error' basically means 'lost connection'.

If you wish, you can do a manual update (detail in FAQ). Download firmware v1.15 from the firmware archive (sticky), or v1.16 (English) from here.

Well just for info , Now when i plug in my Clix and launch Iriver3
it automatically asks do i want to upgrade to version 1.16

I am going to do it soon
