RIP my beautiful Clix

After 4 beautiful, wonderful months, my Clix has taken a 4 foot fall to hardwood... took it's life... it was a 4 foot fall, but fell fast.. my cousin stepped on the hanging mouse cable, which was tangled in the keyboard cable, wrapped around my USB cable.. fell to the floor with great velocity.. makes my heart miss a beat when i visualize it...

Anyway, to show you the problem, i made some pictures with my totally blurry digital camera

WARNING: THIS IS NOT FOR THE ELECTRONICALLY SQUEAMISH. ESPECIALLY FOR FELLOW CLIX OWNERS!

So.. my mom seems to think that if i simply contact iriveramerica, that they will gladly fix/replace it. I think not. I do have my Sansam230(yay?) as a backup.. i'm not music less.... What do you think?? I think Iriver will take one look at it and say, no return, which i cannot blame them for. This is a completely avoidable accident.. although if I don't try something my mom is going to murder me

EDIT: Now trying it out, I can play audio, and the audio part of video files.. that's pretty much it.. and I guess FM radio will still work.. and the audio part of flash files.. and voice recording.. yeah.. it's basically a souped up 4GB S7 right now.. except it cost $200 USD

You can still sell it as it is, since battery and motherboard is still fine... i bid someone want it.
Or you can try the repair service of our iriver store

Wow... you know an audio player is good, when you've been using a broken one for 2 days now, and you still love it! I found a way to navigate to music, and I'm in love with my no screen clix all over again!

Seriously though, Soon, because my nice mother has offered to replace it, she's springing for the $200 4GB player - yeah.. You guys know what the $200 USD 4GB player is? Not the Clix1 anymore.. the Clix2 I'm like, really excited.... like.. a lot.. Even with the broken screen though, this broken Clix isn't a waste.. It's a simple, black S7, with killer battery life. Not wasted..
