Clix Freezes Up... - clixhere!

Im on my 2nd clix now. I bought mine through best buy and had it replaced when the same thing kept happening. Now the clix won't play music when I try to access it. I lost my receipt cause from 2 years ago (I had a protection plan). What should I do??? I definately want a clix 2.

Have you tried installing the newest firmware and then formatting the player through windows explorer??

I tried to but I followed the directions on how to connect my clix when in the firmware updater program and it didn't show that it connected. Help?

Here is how to do a manual firmware update (remember to backup):

After downloading the firmware, extract the HEX file from the zip.
Plug in your device.
Open My Computer
Open the Clix
WMP10: Open the data folder
WMP11: Open the root storage
Copy the hex file that you unzipped into this folder.
Unplug your device.

After the firmware update has completed, format your device.
Transfer your content back to it.
