I have been unable to get the WMP 11 to actually copy files to my Clix 1st generation. The device is recognized, the WMP shows sync is happening or "music already on the device" and sync completed but in the Clix itself almost all files are empty and WMP shows 1.5 GB empty. 10 new songs I ripped to the WMP library today were properly copied to the Clix. Old files already in the WMP library (ripped long ago from CDs not a music service) did not copy...tried manually dragging dropping files to the right pane of WMP and same problem occurs.

I have already: uninstalled and reinstalled WMP 11, gone to a new restore point on my PC, used RESET button and Advanced settings to wipe out old Clix data; also switched usb cables out...

Yikes. All suggestions appreciated.

Maybe the original music files are corrupted?

Hi gwenn, for what its worth I'd give MediaMonkey a try if I were you. I had a lot of similar types of problems with WMP and have been a lot happier since I just gave up using it for syncing to my clix (or other players).
