Can I delete the HEX file?

What is the HEX file for and can I delete it?

The HEX file is your firmware. Each time you update your player the HEX file gets replaced with a newer one.
Delete that and I'm pretty sure you WILL brick your player.
So not advisable!

Aight. iriver should hide that file, I'm always tempted to delete it
