Hey, I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I haven't found a thread on this yet..

I just got the backup battery charger thingy from the iRiver store. It's a lot smaller than I expected, which is excellent!

Unfortunately, the instructions aren't in English.. meaning I am at a bit of a loss as to what the extra full-sized USB port is for, as well as whether I should be using the 4.7V or 4.3V setting for my clix2. Any help would be appreciated.

You should be fine using the pack at 4.7v.
As for the extra port, if you can plug your clix2 in and it charges don't worry about it.
