BSE vs. InvisibleShield
Which is better, in your opinion? Which is easier to apply? I've read differing opinions on the two shields. At the moment I'm leaning toward the InvisibleShield, since it's available while the BSE's on backorder.

I was under the impression that they're pretty much the same... except that the invisibleSHIELD comes with a spray bottle of "application fluid". If you want to pay a near-$20 premium for that, then go for it...

Although I am not so sure about BSE, invisibleSHIELD is close to unscratchable.

just installed the shield zone invisable sheild ... worth every penny .
also free replacement for life.
with some cheaper screen protectors you scratch them in the install process this one has not ONE scratch on it and i was very forcefull when using the aplicator.
when installing just make sure you use enough fluid.

I have no experience with IS, but I just got my BSE in the mail and installed it with no issues. I have to say that I am very impressed; it looks much better than I thought it would; if you'd never seen my clix prior to the BSE being on there, you'd never know it was on there. I am anxious to use my clix and try to wrangle it into the silicone case I got in the same shipment, but I am going to be a good boy and wait the 24 hours it suggests in the instructions for the adhesive to set up. Only complaint is that the appearance of the surface looks a little "mottled" when viewed in reflected light (not like the sheer smooth surface of the clix itself). I am hoping that this will go away over the 24-48 hour waiting period mentioned in the BSE instructions (it says the appearance will "improve" over 24-48 hours).

I've got both invisibleSHIELD and bestskinsever products... BSE for the clix/clix2/my PDA, and an iS for my LG KG800 (mainly because BSE doesn't make one for it)
Other than packaging, the protective film's material is absolutely identical, down to the slightly ripple-y surface that they have after being applied, and even the paper backing. The BSE comes without much frills other than a custom letter envelope, but the iS comes in a larger Jiffylite cushioned mailer, which carries the clear retail blister pack that holds the nicely printed insert/skin/spray bottle/squeege.
If your BSE has the skin for your product, then go for it... otherwise iS is fine, albeit more expensive.

sounds like opinions are balanced, but paying more for Invisible Shield is worth it for the extras (if you want it). Also, is it true they have lifetime replacement for Invisible Shield?Has anyone's opinion changed since these postings in June? How has your shield held up for the duration? Curious if anyone has more to add to this topic, thanks...

I've used a BSE for a few months, and it's wonderfully strong. I've only installed it on the front of the player, because I got some hair under the other one (you should install the skin in a bathroom with the shower running), and I used that one to test strength...it took a whole lot of prying with a very sharp knife to get through it.
I can't imagine needing a better shield - and the price is unbeatable.

Are these shields easy to replace/remove if you wanted to? Do they leave gunky adhesive on the player?

No, they're very easy to get off, and won't leave any sort of glue or anything.
