I've just unpacked and tested the dock, but am somewhat disappointed by it - mind you, this Clix being my very first player I wasn't sure what to expect, or perhaps I'm doing something wrong. Though the volume on the Clix2 is set at maximum, the sound from the dock speaker is very muffled and just about audible.

I must be pretty thick 'cos I can't find the mentioned on/off switch for stereo - would someone put me out of my misery and tell me where it is?

Right on the top, right next to the headphone jack for the clix2, if green is showing it's on, if black is showing it's off.
A lil switch that barely sticks up, and theres a power symbol next to/in front of the switch.....Outside of the "x"

I don't think its that bad as that pocket tables review says it is. The sound from the speakers not the greatest in the world, i wasnt expecting much from the speaker tbh, but the dock itself works fine and looks good too. People may complain about the speaker, but how many other dap's having docking stations with a built in speaker?

There wouldn't be an X on the dock if they designed the iriver clix 2 to have the headphone jack and the usb on the same side. It would be a whole lot easier to use as well. Charge while watching a movie on the dock.

That would entirely cancel out the charging, youd be losing battery i would bet.... i think its a great design, and like i said, iriver giving us a small and compact dock with a speaker, and a complimentary case and extra usb cord, how can you get mad? All for a good price too

I would like to know if the cradle charges the clix 2 while ure away from any source of power, like computer or anything else. If ure in a trip an ure player dries out, if u connect it to the cradle will it charge it? Pls..
