The whole repairing process starts as they check your clix2 serial number, if the number belongs to the U.S. region, than it'll automatic under iriver America's warranty (of course, the purchasing date is needed to confirm you still with in the coverage date). Anyway, since I don't know what region are your clix2 is from, I can only assume at this point that all clix2 sold by Jeff 'should be' the same as iriver America, which means your player should be covered by the iriver America's warranty
