Actually, it was Clieos who originally confirmed that the only difference between a clix2 Rhapsody and a normal clix2 is the firmware. Here is a link to his post.

I just got off the phone with iriver technical support. The representative kept putting me on hold and talking to the tech guys. After about a half an hour, they finally admitted that the 1.14 Rhapsody firmware has bugs in it. In fact, they took it off their web site for this very reason. Hopefully, they will figure out what's wrong and fix it sometime soon. In the meantime, I'm going to go back to version 1.11, since I never had any problems with it other than the 4GB memory bug. The only thing I don't understand is why digitalq is experiencing the same problems even though he isn't using 1.14. Oh well, I guess I'll just keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best. I'll make sure to keep you guys posted.
