A couple other questions: does the Clix 2 support bookmarks? So if I stop playing a long podcast (or other audio or video file), play a different file, and then come back to the first file, will it resume playback where you left off?
I'm probably wrong, but I don't think it works like that. I though bookmarking was when you played a song/video and then turned off the player or switched to a game (maybe). When you turned the player back on or quit the game, the song would still be at the same position and paused.

However, if you switch a song or video you lose the information from the last item. So it will start from scratch.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but i've never seen iriver players that can do what you said. It would be a great feature though.

is the ff and rew fast enough to scan through an audio file in a relatively short amount of time?
I'm not sure if it has improved since the H10 (my last player). But as far as I know you can still change the speed of scanning audio files (increase or decrease it). However with really large audio files, more than 1hour etc, it can get very tedious fast forwarding to a point near the end. This really depends on the firmware though, because when I switched to rockbox the scan speed was dramatically faster. That said, it could be completely different with the clix2.
